Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Your Escape Ltd and the relationship with our clients.

By confirming a booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read and accepted these conditions.

1. Role of Your Escape

Your Escape Ltd acts as an independent travel intermediary and travel advisor assisting Clients in identifying and arranging travel services provided by independent third-party suppliers.

The Company facilitates introductions, reservations and administrative arrangements between Clients and Suppliers.

Your Escape does not operate accommodation, transport or travel services in its own name unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The performance and delivery of all travel services remain the sole responsibility of the respective Supplier.

 

2. Booking Confirmation

A reservation becomes binding once a Booking Confirmation / Invoice has been issued by Your Escape and accepted by the Client.

Additional conditions from the relevant Supplier may apply depending on the services booked.

 

3. Service Fees

Your Escape may charge advisory, planning or service fees for travel planning and booking services.

These fees may include:

• travel consultation
• itinerary design
• supplier coordination
• administrative services

Such fees will always be communicated prior to confirmation and may be non-refundable once the planning or booking process has commenced.

 

ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS

4. Villa and Accommodation Reservations

Your Escape specialises in the identification and reservation of private villas and selected accommodation provided by independent property owners, property managers or hospitality providers.

Accommodation reservations may include:

• private villas
• boutique hotels
• resorts
• private residences

Accommodation services are provided directly by the respective Supplier and remain subject to the Supplier’s own contractual terms and conditions.

 

5. Payment Terms for Accommodation

Unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation:

• a 50% deposit is required within 5 days of confirmation
• The balance is due either 60 days or 30 days before arrival, depending on the property and the Supplier’s conditions

For bookings made within 60 or 30 days before arrival, full payment may be required at the time of booking.

 

6. Cancellation Policy – Villas

Unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation:

• up to 61 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• from 60 to 30 days before arrival: 70% cancellation fee
• from 29 to 1 day before arrival: 100% cancellation fee

In case of no-show, the full rental amount will be charged.

Different policies may apply depending on the specific property or Supplier.

 

7. Security Deposit and Property Rules

Certain villas or properties may require a security deposit to cover potential damages during the stay. The amount and payment method will be specified in the booking confirmation or in the Supplier’s conditions. The Client agrees to respect the house rules provided by the property owner or property manager.

 

CONCIERGE & ADDITIONAL SERVICES

8. Concierge Services

In addition to accommodation bookings, Your Escape may assist Clients in arranging additional services through independent third-party providers.

Such services may include:

• flights and air ticketing
• private transfers
• transportation services
• private chefs
• excursions and activities
• restaurant reservations
• local experiences

These services are arranged upon request and independently from accommodation reservations.

 

9. Independent Travel Services

Each service arranged through Your Escape is booked separately with the respective Supplier and remains subject to that Supplier’s own terms and conditions.

Your Escape therefore does not organise package travel within the meaning of the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

 

10. Flights and Transportation

Air transport services are provided directly by the respective airline.

The air ticket constitutes a contract of carriage between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the airline’s own terms and conditions.

Your Escape is not responsible for airline schedule changes, delays, cancellations or operational decisions.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

11. Travel Insurance

Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for:

• trip cancellation
• medical expenses
• travel disruptions
• personal liability

 

12. Website Information

Your Escape endeavours to ensure that information published on its website is accurate and up to date. Descriptions, images and property details are provided by Suppliers and may change without notice. The Company cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies relating to information supplied by third parties.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

Your Escape acts solely as an intermediary between Clients and independent Suppliers.

The Company shall not be responsible for the performance or delivery of services provided by third-party Suppliers. The Company’s responsibility is limited to the proper execution of its advisory and intermediary services.

 

14. Intellectual Property

Your Escape is a registered brand.

All content published on www.yourescape.org is protected by intellectual property rights.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
